Ivy Décor & Design transformed a dated 5-bedroom thatch home in Franschhoek through an all-hands-on-deck 4-month renovation.

The bathrooms, kitchen, scullery and laundry were completely gutted and rebuilt with bespoke joinery, quality tops and feature lighting. Doors and windows were replaced and added where necessary, and architectural updates included tongue-and-groove ceilings, a reimagined stone-clad braai, and a dedicated home bar.

Outdoor living was elevated with a revamped pool, new decking, a newly built, fully equipped pool cabana, and refreshed landscaping.

With new furniture, décor, plumbing, electrics, paintwork, a converted loft office and snug, the home now feels timeless, warm and effortlessly liveable.
