Tammy Holmes (nee Lederle) is no stranger to entrepreneurialism. Since turning 18, she has started and successfully run 3 acclaimed businesses, with Ivy Décor & Design being the 4th. She has always been in creative fields, starting out as a chef (running her own busy catering company for 2 years), moving into the publishing world (as the Marketing Manager of magazines Seventeen and National Geographic Kids, and later, Cosmopolitan, House & Leisure, O, The Oprah Magazine and Marie Claire) and then into advertising, where she founded and ran Brandnew Creative, a strategic creative agency specializing in the Sport, Fashion, Tech and Lifestyle sectors. While managing Brandnew Creative, which at one stage employed over 20 staff, Tammy dreamed up the idea of Take Charge, a range of leather handbags with a built-in Smartphone and tablet chargers, to power the busy persons’ every day. This became the next business launch, which received huge enthusiasm and support from the market, resulting in the sale of an abundance of product.
While conceptualising, starting and running these businesses, Tammy always had a calling for interiors and the design and décor thereof – and – based on her friends’ constant requests for décor advice – had a knack for them too. It was when her little girl Ivy Joan Holmes joined the world in April 2017 that a shift happened which pushed Tammy to finally take the big leap and pursue her passion of decorating and design.
Skilled at transforming spaces and adding life to rooms, Tammy comes to life through décor and design projects, and loves working with clients who have vision, who are a little bold and who are looking to work as a team.
